The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir
trailer
Hustler Ajatashatru Lavash Patel (Dhanush) has lived all his life in a small Mumbai neighborhood, mystifying people with street magic and performing as a "fakir" who can do impossible miracles. When his mother dies, he sets out on a journey to find his estranged father.
During his trip, he has a series of extraordinary experiences. He finds love in a Swedish furniture store in Paris, but is put in danger when he finds trouble with Somalian migrants and he ends up in London. More threats follow the young man until he stumbles upon some fortune in Rome. When an unlikely foe chases the hustler, he makes his getaway in a hot-air balloon. And it doesn’t just end there…
Based on the novel by Romain Puertolas.
